Be aware of important deadlines for your NEA submissions and GCSE exam dates, which will take place in the summer of Year 11. Make sure to check for mock exam dates and revision sessions, which are crucial for practice and preparation. Your tutors and teachers will of course make you aware of these key dates, however as Key Stage 4 students, it is your responsibility to be prepared.
Year 10 Mock Exams are usually held towards the end of the year, following the completion of GCSE examinations.
At Sir John Hunt we run two periods of mock exams in Year 11. The first set are usually held in November, with the second set at the end of February. This provides time for teachers to revisit important content and perfect exam technique.
GCSE examinations will run as normal between May and July 2025. Students will be issued with their summer timetable in April 2025.
