Our Sixth Form Team are very experienced in providing expert advice and guidance for students.
Students leaving SJH Sixth Form at the end of Year 13 move on to a wide range of positive destinations.
Each year, the majority of Sixth Form leavers go on to university level study.
Our Sixth Form team will oversee your UCAS applications during planned 'Next Steps' sessions and will guide you through the process, from choosing a course and carefully selecting which universities to apply for to crafting a high quality and compelling personal statement. You will be fully supported at each and every stage of this process to ensure the best possible offers.
As a result, our students go on to secure places at top universities across the country each year. We offer additional, personalised support for students considering applying for medicine or Oxbridge.
Apprenticeships at Post-18 are becoming more and more popular each year, with some of the most prestigious Apprenticeship programmes now receiving considerably more applicants per place than Oxford and Cambridge!
Our Sixth Form 'Next Steps' sessions will help you navigate this complicated landscape, and will support your applications for the right programme for you. You will receive exactly the same level of personalised advice as all University applicants. If you are unsure which pathway you want to choose, we will be ready to support you in both!
