Year Group Councils 2025 - Your Voice, Your College!

Our Year Group Councils are back for 2025 – and once again, our students have stepped up brilliantly to represent their peers, share ideas, and help shape life at Sir John Hunt.

Each council plays a key role in making sure every student’s voice is heard, from organising events and leading projects to suggesting ways we can make our College even better. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and work as a team to create positive change.

A final special thank you to Tom and Lily in Year 9 who represented the College at the GLT Trust wide student voice council last week. They will take the trust ideas and cascade these back for discussion.

A huge well done to everyone who took part in the elections - and congratulations to our new council members! You’re now an important part of making sure every student has a say in the future of our College.
