Superkids at Dartmoor Zoo

Building on the success of last year’s superkids we have been fortunate enough to be able to invite a new group of Year 9 students for a 10 week experience at Dartmoor Zoo.

Each week the students will learn invaluable skills from the staff at Dartmoor Zoo, whilst trying to build a new monkey enclosure. Students are challenged to think about how they are going to measure up for the enclosure, what materials they will need and how they are going to build it.

This week they started using basic tools to clear the enclosure. Apart from a few nettle stings, they have enjoyed doing something different and I’m sure will really benefit from this experience.

We look forward to seeing what they will create!
