Lead Learners Day

This term saw the return of one of the favourite events of the school calendar: Lead Learners Day. This year marked our largest ever Lead Learners event with over 350 primary school students and 50 of their teachers attending the College for a day of fun filled activities led in part by our excellent staff team.

The real stars of the show however were the Year 10 Lead Learners and Sports Leaders. The Year 10's supported the Year 5 students during the day and lead sessions in their Science, Art, Music, English, and Team Building activity sessions. Our students were nothing short of outstanding in their conduct, organisation and representation of the College. At all times they were mature, positive and approachable demonstrating in full our College values of Ambition, Endeavour and Respect. The staff from the primary schools were incredibly complimentary of our Year 10's with one staff member even saying "it was like they were secondary school staff!"

Mr Kershaw and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Lead Learners, Sports Leaders, staff and students who were involved with the day - it was one to remember!
