It has been another exciting term for our KS3 football teams, all of them participating in Plymouth Cup, Devon Cup and Central Venue fixtures.
The Year 7’s have really started to come together as a team and lost narrowly on penalties to Torbridge in the Plymouth cup after drawing 2-2 after extra time - showing great resilience to come from 2-0 down to draw and eventually lose.
The Year 7’s started their central venue fixtures by winning one and losing one - the highlight beating DHSB 5-1! The Year 8’s have continued to train hard and have fixtures in the central venue league coming up after half term with plenty of development fixtures coming after half term as well. The Year 9’s lost narrowly to Plymstock 1-0 in the Plymouth cup and showed excellent character losing narrowly again to Torquay Boys Grammar School in the Devon cup.
All of our Key Stage 3 football teams continue to show great progress in their development as individuals and as a team and we have high hopes for more great performances in the coming terms.
