Geography Field Trip

On Thursday the Year 11 geography class went to Dawlish to see the impacts of the groynes on beach profile. They also assessed the sea defenses and drew sketches of the natural arch in the area. Apart from a seagull eating someone's donuts, it was a great success!

On Friday the group went to study the redevelopment of Devonport to assess the impact of Drakes Circus on the town centre. The group were lucky to have a guided tour of the new immersive dome and work space in the old market place, and evaluated the new housing in the area.

The pupils were a credit to the school throughout and it was a pleasure to take them.
