Ernesettle students enjoy Art and IT

Ernesettle Community School students recently enjoyed a fantastic visit to Sir John Hunt, where they took part in engaging IT and Art sessions. This exciting collaboration allowed students to explore new skills and unleash their creativity.

The afternoon kicked off with an interactive IT session, where students got hands-on experience to develop their tech skills in our modern computer labs. The session was both fun and informative, giving students a taste of the endless possibilities in the world of technology right here in our state-of-the-art College facilities.

Next, students moved into the vibrant art studios, where they were encouraged to express themselves and develop their artistic skills through sketching and teamworking activities. The creative atmosphere sparked their imagination and allowed them to produce unique and vibrant pieces of art that they were able to take home with them at the end of their visit!

Overall, the visit was a fantastic opportunity for both schools to build lasting connections and to provide young people in our local community with a taster of secondary school life. We look forward to more exciting opportunities for students to visit the College again in the future!
