Celebration Assembly

It was fantastic to see the performance hall packed once again to celebrate the achievements of our students. The three assemblies which delivered over 280 awards recognised our students who demonstrated our values of Ambition, Endeavour and Respect.

A special mention must go to Blake Ford, Mylee Marsh, Tahlia Danes, Adam Ratchford, Romana Bennett and Kiera Chown for winning the coveted Principal’s awards. I would like to especially thank Mr Holliday who organised this year’s event, Mrs Evans for her support with the logistics and of course a massive thank you to this years 'guest' speaker, who was our very own Miss Rose!

Miss Rose talked about her career which led her to signing for Arsenal Ladies FC, arguably the most successful women’s football team in recent history. During her 5 years at Arsenal, she was called up to play for the England U21 and the Senior team, where she travelled Internationally to play her fixtures.

Our students were left with this key message:
Be ambitious and set you goals high
Fight to knock down every set back with endeavour, get back up and don't run away.
As you embark on life’s journey, learn be kind and show respect to yourself and to those around you.

Mr Carpenter
Assistant Principal
