On the 8th of August, three sixth form students performed a 30 minute diverse set on the Boardmasters stage, including Bryan Adams' 'Summer of 69' and Phoebe Bridgers' 'Graceland Too'.
First up was Romana with her set of three songs, beginning with 'Nobody Knows You When You're Down and You're Out' by Eric Clapton, followed by 'Graceland Too' by Phoebe Bridgers, and ending with 'Daysleeper' by R.E.M.
Morgan and Drew concluded the set by performing four songs, including 'Summer of 69' by Bryan Adams, '505' by Arctic Monkeys, 'Boys Don't Cry' by the Cure, and 'Purple Haze' by Jimi Hendrix.
Congratulations to the students who performed an excellent set and represented Sir John Hunt, and to Mr Cleverley, Mr Bevan, and former sixth form student Daisy (who’s currently studying music in university!) for ensuring that the day was a success. Also, a huge thank you to Andy Rance who made this whole day possible!
