Babcock Neurodiversity

On Tuesday 4th October, students from Year 10 and 11 were invited to take part in a virtual workshop with Babcock.

This was aimed at students with a range of neurodiversity. It was a breath of fresh air to both myself and the students, that their differences were celebrated and supported by such a reputable company in Plymouth.

It really got the students thinking about careers in STEM subjects. So much so that we are hoping to take this group on a trip to Babcock, so they can experience the yard first-hand and explore in more detail some of the apprenticeships they have on offer.
