Arts and Craft Session

During the last week of term, students were invited to Arts and Craft sessions held in the library at the end of the school day. The idea was that students could either make something for themselves, or make something for a Parent/Carer or sibling to give as a gift for Christmas.

The first session was spent designing and decorating mugs. We had some very beautiful art work on the mugs, which were then baked in the oven to seal in the colours. Students were able to make decorative reindeer cones and fill them with hot chocolate powder, mini marshmallows and chocolate drops. Hopefully these were enjoyed using their new mugs!

During session three, students were able to make their own Christmas Baubles by adding in fake snow and miniature Christmas decorations, ready to hang on the Christmas tree.

At the final session students made beautiful calendars to which they added pictures of animals, flowers, animated characters and much more. I am sure these are now displayed in pride of place!
