Army Medical Service Talk

The Sixth Form students were lucky enough to be visited by the Army Medical Service in Remembrance Week. The students really engaged with this session, learning about different career paths within the Army Medical Service.

They were particularly taken with Millie, a canine Health Care Assistant, who demonstrated to the students how she would search for explosives and weapons.

The students also got to practice their tourniquet techniques, seeing if they were able to apply one within the 30 seconds it would take a catastrophic wound to bleed out!

All in all, it was a great session. The Army fed back that our students were respectful and a credit to the school.
