KS3/KS4 - School Closure

Teachers will set 4 tasks a week for students to complete using HegartyMaths. 

Each task has a video to watch and then a quiz to complete. 


Google Classrooms

Maths work during the school closure will continue to be set through Hegarty Maths.

From today all class teachers of Maths will have their classes set up on Google classrooms. This will enable teachers to communicate which tasks need to be completed on Hegarty each week. In addition to this, all End of Term Tests will be uploaded on Google classrooms for students to complete.

To access the classroom please follow the link www.classroom.google.com Once you have done this, you will need to log in, your email/username is you College log in followed by @sirjohnhunt.co.uk For example,

Year 7:

19john.smith@sirjohnhunt.co.uk.

If this is your first time logging in then your password will be student2019, you will then be asked to change it to something personal to you.

Year 8:

18john.smith@sirjohnhunt.co.uk.

If this is your first time logging in then your password will be student2018, you will then be asked to change it to something personal to you.

Year 9:

If this is your first time logging in then your password will be student2017, you will then be asked to change it to something personal to you.

UKMT Junior Mathematical Challenge

Students in 8A1 (Mrs Derby), 8A2 (Mr Salter), 7A1 (Mrs Perring/Mr Walker) and 7A2 (Miss Daykin/Mr Prowse) were due to be taking part in the UKMT Junior Mathematical Challenge on Thursday 30th April. Due to school closures this national problem-solving competition has been postponed to a later date, when schools are reopened. For those students who will be taking part here are some practice resources so you can use to prepare for the competition, make sure you read the cover information carefully so that you understand how the points are scored
