Wednesday the 19th December saw another outstanding event which I feel separates us from our neighbouring schools with respect to embracing our community.
Over 70 local senior citizens joined us for a fantastic four course meal and an evening of entertainment from our Year 7 and 8 choir, our bingo callers and school band. If that wasn't action packed enough, Santa also payed a visit and gave everyone who attended a little Christmas treat.
What stands out most is the sheer number of staff and students that contribute in some way towards the event from the gifts of presents; creation of table decorations; support with driving; serving, cloakroom duties, entertainment, food and last but not least, washing and clearing up.
I would just like to thank everyone involved for helping to spread the Christmas cheer to our community.
