Year 8 Royal Navy experience

Last term all of Year 8 got the opportunity to have a workshop with the Royal Navy. The session focused around building a communications tower for an earthquake-stricken Plymouth, and really engaged student’s communication, problem solving and design skills amongst others. Each group came up with something different and I was genuinely impressed with how they conducted themselves with the Navy personnel. They engaged wonderfully and it was great to see them doing something. Well done Year 8!
