Lab Rats rocket to success in science club

Students have been reaching new heights in their after-school science club, Lab Rats, where each week brings a new hands-on experiment, from slime-making to bridge building.

In one particularly out-of-this-world session, the theme was rocketry. Some of our year 7 students were able to design and launch their own model rockets. A few wobbly lift-offs and dramatic crash landings, but plenty of success and fun was had by all. A special mention to Olly and Oscar who were able to propel their rockets the highest and earn themselves a chocolaty reward.

Lab Rats is run by the science department every Thursday after-school, where all students are welcome to come and have a blast!
