Red Nose Day!

This year, not wanting our charity work to be constrained by the Coronavirus, we simply adapted our fundraising activities. Our pastoral team dug out their worst jokes and took part in a filmed “Joke Off” and 10 little red noses managed to hide themselves around the one way system at the College!

Students overwhelmed us with their generosity, many donating all of their hard earned praise points towards the appeal. Students were given the chance to vote for the winner of the “Joke Off” and enter the hunt the noses competition for a chance to win Love to Shop vouchers. Congratulations go to:

Mr Fort for winning the coveted “Joke Off” and to the following students whose names were drawn out of the Pastoral Red Nose box:

• Winner: Fraser Rhodes
• Runners up: Hannah Green, Brooke Smith and Dulcie Pinhey

I would like to thank everyone involved in the smooth running of the day and to all the students for their donations which raised a staggering £2395.30 which will be split between Red Nose Day and our College Charity, Cancer Research UK.
