Come on England!

As England’s 2022 World Cup campaign got off to a start, we wanted to provide a rare opportunity for our students to enjoy watching the national team together on the big screens. The students thoroughly enjoyed the game in which England won 6-2 against Iran. For some of them it was the first time they had watched an England game, and for most of us it was the first time we had celebrated England scoring 6 goals! There was also a Personal Development opportunity for the students with the controversy surrounding the host nation for this World Cup in terms of human rights, equality and diversity. All the students took some time ahead of the game to learn more about these topics with a focus on this high-profile event.
